Transform a plain wreath with some no sew fabric flowers. Decorate your door by adding a fun and festive Fall Fabric Flower Wreath from Tiffany Windsor that will last all season. Save money on fabric and use old t-shirts to construct your flowers.

Fall Fabric Flower Wreath

Materials:

  • Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Permanent Dry Cleanable Adhesive
  • Aleene’s Super Thick Tacky Glue
  • T-shirts (fall colors and prints of your choice)
  • Scissors
  • Fall leaves
  • Grapevine wreath
  • Non-stick surface

Instructions:

  1. Cut t-shirts into strips. The width of your strips will determine the size of your flowers. The flowers featured on the wreath range in size from 1″ – 2″ strips.

  2. Apply line of Aleene’s Fabric Fusion Glue along one cut edge of strip. Fold strip in half lengthwise to create a long folded strip.

  3. Use scissors to cut into folded edge at approximate 1/2″ intervals. The length of your cuts will be determined by the folded size of your strips. Always leave at least 1/4″ uncut so that the strip remains intact. You can also vary the interval of your cuts if you want smaller or larger “petals”. For the pinwheel effect to your flower, make your cuts at an angle rather than straight cuts.

  4. Apply line of glue along bottom edge of strip (this is the edge that was already glued together).

  5. Leaving glued strip on work surface, begin rolling tightly from one end. Continue to roll until you have achieved desired size of flower. Cut off excess strip.

  6. If flower has shifted during the rolling process, place the glued side down on non-stick surface and give the center a press with fingers. This will even up the glued side. Set aside to dry.

  7. Repeat to create flowers of various sizes and shapes to cover approximately 1/2 of your wreath.

  8. Glue leaves and flowers onto the wreath with Aleene’s Super Thick Tacky Glue.
